Hi everyone. I was wondering if I’m the right size to model. Modeling has always been my dream, but I’m just not sure.
I’m a girl, I’m 5’9", and my measurements are 34-27-37. Could I be a swimsuit model? Runway model? Plus-size model? Glamor model? Fitness model? Lingerie model? Anything?
I’m 35 pounds, btw. And I’m not asking about what my face looks like, I’m asking fir your opinion based on my weight and stuff.

Okay, nowadays accepting women of heavier sizes has become a notion of increasing popularity: the thicker set body type has become an acceptable norm where no more excercise is required.

However with men, chubbier male bodies are still not an acceptable norm. For instance on Tyra, she had a bunch of plus size women get into lingerie and strut it: could chubby men with pots, man boobs and love handles walk on stage in their boxers? Probably not because the male figure doesn’t take on fat very well.

Am I right in thinking MEN are in a more unfair position when it comes to body image and weight gain because a chubby man isn’t considered a perfect figure (where no more excercise is required) as opposed to a chubby womans?

Should fat just be considered fat, should the right body image only be the one you get after healthy diet and excercise? Why is it women have an acceptable excuse for being lazy but not men?

I’m 13, a C cup. My mom thinks I need bras with good support, so she gave me some with full coverage, that covers a lot. The tissue is thick and they clasp with 4 hooks in the back. She thinks I really need them, though I don’t like. I’ve been wearing then for some months, but still don’t like those bras.
I’m doing exactly as mom told me, we have a wonderful relationship and she’s very caring and loving. But now it’s summer and those bras are kinda confining and hot, make me sweat. None of my friends wear bras like those, but mom says I need them and it seems nothing will make her change her mind. Seems I don’t have other choice. She’s kind and loving, but very strict about my bras. They are like the one at this underwear site. I wear 34C

Well, she asked me to pick out some lingerie for her and I have never bought any before. This makes it kinda hard, as she didn’t give me any hints on what she wants or what she is comfortable in. Here is some info that might help you, help me. Her personality is not shy out in public, but she is shy inside the bedroom. She listens to metal and rock and is a t-shirt and jeans kind of girl. She is plus sized and Latin, with straight dark brown hair. What really makes this hard is that I have never seen her in a dress, so I have no idea what she looks like in anything really feminine. If you could give me an idea on 1. a place to look at online 2. what type of lingerie would fit/accentuate her body style/personality 3. what colors usually go good with the woman I described above. I asked mom some questions and she said

Will these bras make me sweat when summer comes? She said, well hun, honestly yes, but you need them
Much? Well, if it’s really hot, yes. But no problem, your bras are washable and your breats too, lol
Will you let me wear other kind of bra? no way hun! In the summer your breasts will be the same, you’ll need exactly the same bras.
And if I don’t want to wear them? Sorry hun, you have no choice, you’ll have to put up with them and get used.
I can’t wear tank top with them. she said, of course you can, many cute tank tops can be worn over such bras.
And when I see my friends braless or wearing light bras? I’ll envy them. Well, like I said you have to put up with them and with some sweat, you know this is the right thing to do.

Is mom right? Will I have a hard time next summer?

I am looking to buy some lingerie for my wife. I know it sounds cheesy but I want to put a little spice back into the marriage. I like all different styles of lingerie but wanted to find out what would look best on a plus size woman. Ok, so i have been searching and searching…Im getting so discouraged because I cant find a place that I can buy sexy lingerie from that has anything that fits my body! Im NOT A PLUS SIZE GIRL!!!! Hi, I am a mother of a 14 year old daughter. We’re both quite bottom-heavy (thighs and bum).
To keep the wobblies under control, I wear Tummy & Thigh Control Shapewear, but when my girl sees me in them she says they’re gross. Anyone out there who knows something less ‘gross’, but still helps out ? Thanks !
