We just found out were having a baby last week, yeah !!! but as we looked at her insurance policy we discovered she has no maternity coverage, and i just started with a new company soo my insurance doesnt kickin for another 80 days or so…and were not married at this point, although we have been engaged for a while.
We live in Florida, and ive exhausted myself trying to find a solution to help cut the cost of having a child, with no luck.
Can anyone suggest a helpful means to help cut the costs,we both make too much for medicaid, shes apposed to governament assistance,as it is generally cheap and you dont get to choose your own doctors, and i agree with her,i want her to have the best doctors and care provided.
Are there any programs available,or grants, etc etc that might be of help out there?
Ive checked a few sites online, all offering to work on our behalf to negotiate with doctors for the lowest rates, but im fearful those are just scams ,why couldnt i do that myself? help!!
no,theres no low income hospitals in my area..i make 78k a year, she makes 40k…we dont qualify for help.ive got a mortgage thats rediculous,2 cars,2 motorcyles, insurance to pay..yeah,the toys are being sold…but still, its 10k just to give birth minimum,if its not complicated…imnot looing for pity,im looking for a cost savings measure.im strapped as much as the next guy.
