Find Plus Size and Maternity Clothes Including Dresses, Tops and Jeans
I need one of those strapless bras that go all the way down to my hips — I need to wear it under my wedding dress. I wear a 34DD bra, but I can’t find any of that style bra in that large of size anywhere! Where can I find one?
Ok, hi. So my cousin is getting married in November and I need a dress! I’m plus size and have a big butt and my stomach kinda makes me look pregnant. Should I look at maternity dresses?? I also will like to loose some weight before the wedding, because I havent seen my family in over a years and I have gained about 50-60 lbs since. So yea, please tell me what you think I should do. I’m 5’4". The last time I saw my family, I was 123. Now, I’m 175. I gained 53 lb. I gained most of the weight because my boyfriend broke up with me, and also, I’ve been eating alot of sweets and chips. Should I pretend I’m pregnant? I’m only 18, so that may not go well. But then again, if my family, especially my parents, see how I gained alot of weight, they will probably freak out. They are all very fit and most of them are nutritionists and doctors. And I try those gertile things, they dont work. They just suffocate me and I usually end up breaking them because they wont go over my belly. So yea, thanks.
My self esteem is not so great right now. Ive put on weight over the years. I have always felt beautiful and received compliments but now im getting older and having trouble losing this(sticking to a regimen and restricted diet) I feel like since its a matter of time I should look as good as possible at this size-but I hear so many people talk crap about fat women-as if we are gross, lazy and no one would ever want to make love to one.

when i was pregnant i tried on some skinny maternity jeans I was 35 weeks and didn’t have a huge belly but I did def. look very pregnant and they looked so funny on me. I’ve seen some pregnant woman wearing skinny jeans and it just looks so funny on in my opinion.
I have seen signs that high schools are collecting "once used" prom dresses to sell- Does anyone know of any?
I also heard that there is a lightly used prom dress store in DC-

I usually wear a size M in tops and a M-L in bottoms and whatnot but I’ve noticed that my M tops are a little more snug and shorter now that I have a little bump going on. I was wondering (and I know it depends on how big I get) if the majority of you ladies bought maternity clothes or went to like an XL in regular misses for example.
A girl I know is just wearing larger sizes but a girlfriend of mine opted for maternity jeans.

The bra size that is being looked for are J through K cup. It would be a plus if the bras had wide shoulder straps.
We just found out were having a baby last week,yeah !!! but as we looked at her insurance policy we discovered she has no maternity coverage,and i just started with a new company soo my insurance doesnt kickin for another 80 days or so…and were not married at this point,although we have been engaged for a while.
We live in Florida,and ive exhausted myself trying to find a solution to help cut the cost of having a child,with no luck.
Can anyone suggest a helpful means to help cut the costs,we both make too much for medicaid,shes apposed to governament assistance,as it is generally cheap and you dont get to choose your own doctors,and i agree with her,i want her to have the best doctors and care provided.
Are there any programs available,or grants,etc etc that might be of help out there?

no,theres no low income hospitals in my area..i make 78k a year,she makes 40k…we dont qualify for help.ive got a mortgage thats rediculous,2 cars,2 motorcyles,insurance to pay..yeah,the toys are being sold…but still,its 10k just to give birth minimum,if its not complicated…imnot looing for pity,im looking for a cost savings measure.im strapped as much as the next guy.

I’m almost 5 months pregnant (19 weeks), but I don’t look like it at all. I’m 5′ 7”, and weighed about 140 pre-pregnancy. I was always slim, but never skinny. And I’ve always had very wide hip bones. Anyways, I’ve gained over 10 pounds, but it just looks like a layer of fat. I have no round tummy. My old clothes dont fit, and maternity just looks baggy. I eat like a horse, and feel fine, so it’s not like I’m just not gaining weight. I also cant feel the baby yet, as much as I try. I worry alot about my baby, and peoples comments dont help. I get everything from "Are you sure your pregnant?" or "You need to eat more!" or "Are you sure about the dates, because your so tiny!" (People say this infront of my boyfriend, which doesn’t make him feel real good.) And the worst is "Are you sure nothing is wrong with the baby?" I worry enough without these comments. How should I handle it? I try to ignore it, but I hear it so often. Has this happened to anyone else? When will I look pregnant!?!?
Im a plus size woman and im also pregnant. Clothing companies must not think that plus size pregnant women need maternity clothes. My wal-mart, sears, JC penny, fashionbug,motherhood, or khols dont carry plus sizes in there stores. I dont understand why? Has anyone else had this problem and did you feel left out sort of bc your not a size 0-18?
