Will there be any trouble with the alteration of my prom dress?

I recently received my prom dress a few days ago, and I had a question about alterations. My prom dress is all white, with black beading all over the entire dress. My mother had ordered two sizes to big, and I was wondering if there would be any major troubles w/the alterations?
