I was curious if anyone else has had this problem… I am almost 6 feet tall and it is next to impossible to find maternity dress pants for talls. There is an abundance of capri pants and dresses, but i hate capris, and I don’t really want to wear dresses everyday.

Maternity stores must not expect tall women to get pregnant (and continue to work).

I have found tall jeans– old navy– but they do not have dress pants (which makes no sense…because if people are buying the tall jeans…wouldn’t they also need tall pants!?)
to all the short people…you can go get your pants hemmed to fit you correctly easily at a local dry cleaner… you can’t make pants longer!!

My maid of honor is a big girl (I’m not small myself). She also has a large bust that requires alot of support. I am allowing each of my girls to wear the style of dress they feel comfortable in. The problem is that on a normal day, she often wears spagehti strap tank tops with no bra, and the shirt doesn’t always cover her properly. I want to suggest some flattering styles for her body type, but don’t I’m afraid she will not like the choices and might be offended. Any suggestions on how to suggest them without making her feel unattractive? Do you know of any stores or websites that feature reasonably priced bridesmaid dresses for full figured women?

Call me old-fashioned but I don’t like seeing her wearing those pants and short-sleeve tops. She says she feels more comfortable in the pants but I disagree; to me it’s more feminine and motherly to see a pregnant woman in a dress.

I’m going to a wedding for a friend in mid-September, and at the time I’ll be about 15 weeks along with twins. I’m already gaining a bit of weight and am slowly starting to form a little belly. I’m assuming that within over a months time, my belly will be drastically bigger. With my previous pregnancies, I was in maternity clothes by 3 or so months-and since I’m having twins, I assume I will definitley be by the time the wedding comes around. Anyways, I’m trying to decide on which maternity dress is "appropriate" for a September wedding. The actually ceremony is in a church, but then the reception is a pig roast outside at the brides parents house.
I’ve gotten a few ideas from Motherhood Maternity. Do you like any of these dresses, or do you have any other ideas?
