I’m 26 weeks pregnant, and my husband likes for me to go swimming with him, but wearing a 1 pc suit really hurts my belly ( I can’t find any maternity ones) anyway I have been wearing a bikini top with a skirted bottom…is this inappropriate??? I have an obvious baby belly, do you think people will get offended??? Do you think its ok to wear a 2 pc???
I’m not really fat or anything, I was a 3 pre pregnancy, but it is very obvious I’m pregnant..lol
Please give me your opinions??

before i got pregnant i was really tiny…they had to pierce the bottom of my belly button and not the top because i did not have any extra fat, well now i am 30 weeks and just the other day my belly button has decided to turn into an outie…what on earth should i do about my belly ring??? should i get a maternity ring?? should i take it out? what are your experiences with a post pregnancy belly piercing?? what is your advise?

Here are the things I am setting aside to put in my hospital bag-

Toiletries
Books, music
slippers
shower shoes
2 towels
Nightshirts and robe
Hair bands, clips
a pillow
sanitary pads
a going home outfit (maternity gaucho pants and a comfy top)
an outfit for the baby
nursing bras
change of clothes for my fiance

I thought about things like nipple cream, diapers and wipes for the baby and a bunch of other stuff, but will the above list suffice? I will be delivering in a really nice, brand new hospital- everyone tells me that most hospitals provide little brushes and clippers for the baby and other little items like pads, mesh underwear, etc. Is that common? I don’t know anyone who has been to this particular hospital and I will ask my doc, but I won’t see her for another month and I would like to get started on this bag asap. Thanks!

Can I get away with wearing low cut cotton undies in a larger size? My Mom said the maternity variety is a must,but I cannot imagine,coming from the low rise jeans culture,wearing panties over my growing belly!

Me and my BF have 2 small children, one 3 yrs and the other 4 mos. We all live together (in his house) and I just went back to work from a partial-paid maternity leave. My BF pays the house-pmt and therefore expects me to pay all the rest of the bills, including all utilities, car pmt, health ins, medical copays, daycare, etc, etc. I know his house pmt is a lot but trying to afford all these bills on top of baby formula (which can cost up to or more per day) is not working for me and I am struggling deeply, somedays not eating. My daycare cost is 00 per mo .and I asked him to at least help with this and he said "no that I choose to work so I need to pay for the expense. " He complains that he never gets ahead because he has to "borrow" me money for the kids expenses that I should be taking care of because of him paying the house payment. He makes a lot more than me. Recently he said that I either get a new job and stop borrowing from him or move out. What should I do?
To clarify some peoples questions, he makes about 3 times what I make. The reason I ask about selfishness is because shouldn’t my kids come first over fairness? And why does the money situation have to be 50/50 when we have kids? I take them to daycare and pick them up, take work off for when they’re sick, take them to all the doctors appts, etc, etc. I want to help and 100% of my income is spent on the kids. But finding a new job would be hard because I would have to find an employer as family oriented as mine to put up with sick days, etc. for my kids. (And for the guy with the silly answer, you know who you are, please remove it. Its a bit inapproriate.)

I was wondering what some of you thought of today’s fashion. Now I think that people should be their own person and show off your personality the way you want to, not how others want you to. But for women especially, what’s with the t-shirts that are like a mile long to your knee caps, or looking for a nice coat or shirt only to find it’s half way long. Or even some of the pants. A lot of the clothes look frumpy, skanky or like maternity wear. Now there are some clothes out there that do look good and it’s cool there are different styles matching different decades,but I think fashion was best in the late 90′s to early/mid 2000′s. Especially t-shirts and tops. What do you think?

I’m at 37 weeks but I would like some advice from those who have had already went through this of what I should pack and when.
The hospital is going to be at a military base, so they have a strict rule that I can’t eat anything that I bring from home unless it’s clear/see-through like a sucker or apple juice.
I was able to tour the place and they have whirlpools to help relax in but what do you wear in them? I don’t have a preggie bathing suit, lol.
Also, when you leave the hospital, what kind of clothes would be more comfortable to wear? Would my maternity jean capris’ elastic band hurt around my waist or should I just bring PJs that tie?

I am a definite apple…broad shoulders, big boobs, post-baby belly, flat butt, thin legs. I have been watching "What Not to Wear" and have finally found some tops and pants that flatter my figure…here’s my question: how long should the length of my shirts be to truly flatter my figure? I am thinking of having my shirts altered. Right now, they are falling below the fly of my pants. Should I have the shirt hem raised so that some of the zipper shows? Are long shirts in fashion right now? I am concerned that they may have an air of "maternity" to them if they are too long. Please advise…

I will be 29 weeks on Friday and I am having some maternity pictures taken to commorate this being my last pregnancy. I have two boys (ages 8 and 2) and I am having a girl. These picturs are gonna be taken outdoors and I need some ideas for clothes to wear and ideas for poses. Here’s the dress i’m wearing except it’s in the mocha color and it’s the maternity version(and the picture does not do the mocha color justice) My sister’s wedding is September 3rd. Her color scheme is champagne, gold and light pink. I just hit 7 monthes pregnant but i still want to wear regular heels (2 or 3 inches no more)just for the ceremony. So, hey I’m Britta, I’m in 8th grade. In English my teacher went on maternity leave, so we have this new teacher guy. We still have him for the rest of this week and another week, and he got hired last week. Then we are on Christmas vacation. Anyway, he is kinda creepy like at first he seemed ok but when he was doing attendance the first day me and my friends Leslie and Christie were both creeped out…He changed all the seats so the girls were all up front then when he called Christie’s name, her real name is Christa, he was like "Christa…what a pure name…It suits you." And he winked at her and yeah, weird.

But that’s not the creepiest thing, Leslie was wearing a kind of short skirt, and this teacher kept "dropping his pen" and asked Leslie to pick it up and I swear half the class could’ve sworn he was looking at her butt when she bent over. In a gross way.

Ok, so I guess none of this seems that bad, but it gets worse. Monday, we got our tests back. And this girl who always slacks off and fails tests, well she dresses like a skank-short shorts, really low cut tops or halter tops. You know. Well unless she had a sudden change of heart and decided to actually study, she aced the test. Sounds like Mr. Sub is favoring the girls who dress like hoochie mamas, lol.

Then Wednesday he told us all we couldn’t wear hoodies in the classroom. Because they’re "distractions". OMG! I was so angry and so were most of the girls. Like seriously how much more of a pig can he be?

But the creepiest thing happened today. Leslie and I wear leaving class when he asked us, "Girls do you have any little boyfriends? You’re way too pretty to not have boyfriends. I think that you little girls are too pretty to never have seen a guy naked, right? Have you ever seen a guy naked? Would you like to see a guy naked?" And he gave us the CREEPIEST grin and wink, then we ran out of there so fast.

I am horrified. I don’t know what to do. I think I’m going to tell my parents but I’m scared. What if they don’t take this seriously? Should I tell someone else? Please help. Thank you.
