I just recently started a new job and I am 8 weeks pregnant. I have not told my employer and don’t plan on it till after my 3 month probabtionary period. Anyways, I where a uniform and I am on the plus size and I find the pants very tight. The size a have it the highest they go for their uniforms. I have to bend and that and I find it cuts into my stomach. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I feel like I am showing already and can feel fluttering, not sure if possible this early but after 3 who knows. So I was wondering if there is any harm to the baby if my pants are really tight and cutting in to me or is it just a matter of it being uncomfortable. I want to wait to tell my manager so that I can order maternity pants and let my top hang out. I don’t want to give them any reason to fire me right now as I need my job. So what do you ladies think. Am I ok? I just feel like I am sqooshing the baby inside but with all my added padding…lol….i jdk.

Ok I know my question sounds funny.. BUT I am very much considering buying some maternity pants.. I am soooo bloated that I am so uncomfortable in my work pants. Luckily, I get to wear jeans to work the next 4 months and I was just wondering if you thought it is weird to want to wear them soo soon..
Thanks everyone for the responses!
I am not wearing TIGHT clothes. they are normal form fitting.. I said that I am extremely bloated and uncomfortable.

I have had to wear maternity pants already and i am only six weeks along. Is that normal for someone who is on their second pregnancy. I don’t have any idea what is going on. Could i possibly be pregnant with twins
I have noticed though that i have not gained that much weight. I think i have gained about 5lbs. But that is just by my belly. My breasts weigh about 3 lbs a piece right now

It seems like all of my maternity pants either A.) scoot down when I walk and I have to hold the band up or B.) stay up but cut into my tummy when I sit down.
So much for the old "maternity clothes are SO comfortable" line….
Anyone else feeling extra uncomfortable in these clothes? I’m seriously about to go out and buy some XL sweat pants and just live in those for the next three weeks (or less!)

Over the next 5 months, until my due date in August. Once a month starting next week.
I have no idea what to wear for it. I want it to match some how. I don’t want to wear maternity pants because the bands on it are ugly to me and when showing the belly (which is what is going to happen) it wont look to pretty. What are some ideas to the bottoms, and also tops.
I would also like to only have to buy one bottom and have 5 different shirts with it to match. But the same style shirts, just different colors maybe.
Im also 19, so keep in mind I still dress like a teenager.
Thank you.

Not some at home pictures.

When did you break out the maternity pants with your second, third, or fourth babys? and how close are your kids gonna be in age when baby is born? I am pregnant with my second and when the baby is born they will be 22 months apart…but I just broke out the maternity jeans at 8 weeks and 2 days and feel great! What about you?

Inexpensive suggestion would be LOVED but any are appreciated. If there is a place near Erie or Pittsburgh, PA or a good place to order online that would be perfect. I wore a size 1 before pregnancy and am squeezing into a size 3 right now. I can’t wear regular small maternity pants because of the length and they fit awfully! I am only 20 so trendy is a plus! PLEASE HELP!!! thanks

I know that I asked a similar question to this before but I need to ask again. I am 7 weeks and 3 days into my third pregnancy. I am already having to wear my maternity pants because my fat jeans(which I saved after I lost weight) stopped fitting a week ago. I was a size 9 when I got pregnant and my fat jeans were sizes 12 and 13/14. I also happen to be a short person. I am only about 5’2". I’ve had people tell me that I look about 3 months, atleast. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello!
I have officially outgrown my pre-pregnancy clothes.
I started buying regular pants just a size or 2 bigger than I’m used to. My mom told me it’s time to give in and pick up some pants I can wear for the rest of my pregnancy without having to buy new pants every month.
Recommendations on type of maternity pants and where to buy them for a good deal would be great!
Thanks!

I am having a horrible time finding comfortable maternity pants. For my first pregnancy I used the ones that sat under your belly but this pregnancy they drive me nuts, I can’t stand anything tight. I have been to stores looking and haven’t found anything that really works. What pants do you like and why. 21 weeks pregnant with baby #2

for not wanting to buy maternity clothes?
im starting to get bigger since im getting to be farther along in my pregnancy..
i wear a bella band and it makes it seem just as if im wearing maternity pants, and more comfertable…with my tops i just buy a size up and everything fits fine..
some of my family is mad that i dont wana shell out 50 or 60 bucks for a pair of maternity jeans when i can get a perfectly fine pair of jeans that arent maternity for 30 bucks…
is this wrong?

I tried on some maternity clothes today (size 2 jeans at target) but they were too big in the legs and crotch area. I am wearing a size 3 in juniors jeans now, but they are big in the legs and butt too, but are getting extremely uncomfortable around my waist. Does anyone know where I can get some small maternity pants that will fit? I’m 22 weeks pregnant, 5ft 1in, and have about a 28-29in leg inseam. My legs and butt are the same size as before pregnancy, only my tummy is growing so far… any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
