Im almost 12 weeks pregnant & have to go to my cousins wedding in a week & want to look decent, Im wondering if these beauty routines are safe during pregnancy?
1.) Using Crest whitening strips to whiten my teeth
2.) Using self tanner
3.) Using lemon juice to naturally lighten my hair as Im not going to color it (even if some people say its safe) my roots are starting to show & I need something!
** Also, are there any good maternity stores that have a dressy top to wear w/ black pants to a wedding? Ive looked everywhere…target,
jc penney, sears, kohls, motherhood maternity & it seems like there is no selection & very limited for us pregnant women.
Thanks!!

I’m going to a wedding for a friend in mid-September, and at the time I’ll be about 15 weeks along with twins. I’m already gaining a bit of weight and am slowly starting to form a little belly. I’m assuming that within over a months time, my belly will be drastically bigger. With my previous pregnancies, I was in maternity clothes by 3 or so months-and since I’m having twins, I assume I will definitley be by the time the wedding comes around. Anyways, I’m trying to decide on which maternity dress is "appropriate" for a September wedding. The actually ceremony is in a church, but then the reception is a pig roast outside at the brides parents house.
I’ve gotten a few ideas from Motherhood Maternity. Do you like any of these dresses, or do you have any other ideas?

I am looking for some stores or websites that sell plus sized maternity clothes. I have purchased clothes from Motherhood Maternity and am disappointed with the quality. I am also aware of Lane Bryant Maternity and Duo at JC Pennys. Any others you know about? Thanks!

I am 16 weeks pregnant, and now my belly is starting to grow! My jeans no longer fit, or they do, just cant button them, then the zipper falls down. I tried a bella band(looks like a tube top, but for your belly), and that no longer holds the zipper. So i am looking for some pants that are stretching but comfy. I have to be able to wear them to work. I work in a casual environment (thank god). Does anyone know where i can find some? I have tried : jcpenney, sears, dillards, kohls, walmart, shopko, and have looked on the internet. The only store i am finding any is at fashion bug. I cant fit into maternity because my belly is not big enough yet. PLEASE HELP ME
I went to motherhood maternity, and none of their pants fit. I am very petite. I was size 3-5 before prenancy.

Hi. I’ve got a pair of jeans from Motherhood Maternity with the "comfort band" or whatever it’s called (the stretchy part that goes up over most of your stomach).
I love the jeans. They’re really comfortable, and they look really cute. BUT, that stretchy part just ITCHES! Of course, my belly is kind of itchy now, anyway…
I’ve tried lotion. Any other suggestions? Does it bother anyone else, if you have any of these jeans? I really want to keep wearing the jeans, but they’re driving me crazy today. LOL.

Alright, I’ve heard people talking about a Bella Band, and I’ve even looked it up on the Bella Band website, but what I don’t understand is, how do you use it?
Do you use the band on your regular pre-pregnancy clothes, or is it something you wear with maternity clothes?
I have one pair of jeans from Motherhood Maternity, and I can’t stand wearing them. They just don’t fit right, and they’re not comfortable.
Will a bella band make wearing my pre pregnancy jeans easier?

I am already showing and my regular clothes dont fit me comfortable anymore, the zipper is the only thing that hurts my belly, so I bought some jeans from Motherhood maternity they were the smallest ones but they are huge and are falling off. I looked in other stores but can’t find pretty maternity clothes that would fit my body the way I want everything is loose and big. Does anyone know of a good store??

I am looking for tall maternity jeans without the full panel. I have a pair from Motherhood Maternity which are super comfortable, but they are snug on my thighs and a little loose on my belly, so they are constantly slipping down- kind of a pain when walking around. Any ideas about where I could find jeans with the low belly elastic bands? I have tried RG Maternity, Old Navy (don’t like the fit), and Motherhood. Oh, I’m about a size 16 and anything with at least a 34 inseam would work. Thanks!
I am currently wearing jeans that are too big, and they are very uncomfortable. A bigger size just means I have to pull them up all day.

so i’m due in a few weeks, and my bras aren’t fitting, this is my second. i nursed my first for a year, but only had a couple cheap nursing bras, that were pretty uncomfortable. i wanted to get a few good ones this time around.
and plus the bras i have now (the regular ones) are getting pretty snug.
i’m normally a 36b, so i went to motherhood maternity’s web site, and it said i was a 36 c, which make sense. but when i went there today, i was still kind of spilling out of the cups a little.
i want to know if i should go to a "d" because once the milk comes i’ll be totally huge. if i should stick with a "c" since they go down once the baby is nursing.
ORRRR do i go with something like this from now until the baby comes…http://www.motherhood.com/maternity/bras-sleep-bras.asp
the first 2 look like good options because there’s no real cups and it would be a little more flexible and pretty in expensive until i know what size i am after a few months of nursing.
sorry, i’m probably thinking too much.. :-/

My friend keeps telling me it’s bad luck to buy any baby stuff or maternity clothes untill I’m 3 months. Well my Mother in Law just bought a bunch or baby blankets at the goodwill (cheap cheap cheap) and the other day I went in to Motherhood maternity to get a few pants becasue it might just be bloating but my pants are to tight and I’m worried it’s bad to be that tight. Please tell me what you think. I know I shouldn’t worry but I do and I try and believe that god help me get pregnant and he will help me stay this way.
Thanks so much for easing my mind. I’m excited and not letting anyone tell me different. Thanks everyone!!

Is it just me or do maternity jeans suck??? Maybe it’s because I’m plus size, maybe not. Mine are from motherhood maternity, and I have a pair from sears as well. But the band seems always too loose with the yellowish band. And the dark blue one seems to cut me off, but the pants are the correct size. The crotch seems to hang about an inch low and scrapes my inner legs.
this is with actual jeans, and with carpi’s too. Does anyone else have this problem?? Any suggestions???
Thanks!!
