You can get insurance coverage. Just go to the local health department when you move to your new town, tell them your situation, & see if you can apply for a medical card. Because you will not be covered for insurance until you &/or your husband has a job that you have been at for the waiting period of the insurance coverage to kick in, you will qualify for the medical card – it will cover all costs, you will be covered at least until the insurance kicks in, if not longer.
You can try Medicaid.
try medicaid.. they have a plan for like $50 a month just for pregnancy and birth..if you income is low enough, though, you may be able to qualify for full benifeits for you and baby.
There should be somekind of insurance you can get on, especially since you need prenatal care.. search for insurance in Washington on google and good luck.
You have no choice but the Cobra, you have to be a resident at least 6 months before they will help.
I went my entire pregnancy without insurance or govt aid….You need an OB…they usually will work out payment plans for you….You can ask the govt for help and don’t worry you won’t have to have the baby at home if you go to the ER while in labor they CANNOT turn you away! Also some hospitals have payment plans also that let you pay a percentage before you are due.
Yes, my step-daughter just had a baby a few months ago. She was unemployed at the time she became pregnant. It was either Medicare or Medicaid, but they paid every single penny of Dr. and hospital bill. I think you can probably check on-line. Good luck!
Get some sort of insurance asap. Without insurance, vaginal birth is is the $7,000 range and c-section is in the $11,000 range. Pregnancy is NOT a preexisting condition.
Have you looked into Medical….Here in california woman have access to medical when they are pregnant.
Try the washington state department of social and health services.

Hope this helps…..
I would see what Medical coupons they have available. I have mine through Molina, but I’m west of Vancouver, WA. Contact DHS and ask what is available.
What I would do is find a government office when you get there and go from there. but, if you are on an insurance plan and you get preg. while on that insurance, and lets say you loose your job or move, the insurance is to cover you till the birth. then they drop you after a few mnths after the baby is born. you need to call your insurance and ask them about it. But, from my experience with insurance they do have the resp. to cover you till the birth of your child. but, I would definately call them monday morn. and tell them the dilema and they will tell ya what they do and if they do indeed cover you till the birth and out of state. good luck
try to apply for medicaid
Seems you have a lot of exceptions. You own two cars right? Get loans on them. There is your upfront money. That is what my cousin and his GF did. In the meantime, check out Planned Parenthood in the area for advice as to where to get low-cost prenatal care.
