I’m visiting Toronto and Tennessee in early March, and I’ll be 6 months pregnant. I’m on baby #2 so my bump is already very noticeable. Anyway, I know it’ll be COLD!! The UK maternity retailers are useless, selling flimsy fashion items and marketing their spring/summer catalogue already. What do you lovely ladies wear to keep out the cold AND stay looking gorgeous? My daughter was a summer baby, so all my maternity stuff is for hot weather. If I don’t get sorted soon I’ll be making the trip in a floaty skirt and sandals!!
Would love to hear what stores are your choice for maternity wear – then I can order stuff online!
Thanks
Clarabelle

NOT frumpy dumpy stuff. Did you wear cute VS yoga pants?? and stuff like that? I was just wondering i was on this website looking at maternity clothes (even though i’m not pregnant so its kinda pointless…
but still it was fun) and Forever 21 has a maternity line which Forever 21 has super cute clothes in general so of course their maternity line is super cute too. Anyways when i get pregnant I cannot WAIT to show off my bump lol i’ll wear yoga pants (because they have a stretchy top) and cute tight shirts that are tight but still cover my stomach and then jeans and UGGS (if its winter, or cold outside) idk everything that I will wear but I think pregnancy is a good reason to just go on a shopping spree! When do you usually show when you get pregnant?? I want to lose a ton of weight (I’m 5’6” and 125 so I am not fat or anything) but I want to be like 115 when I get pregnant so my bump will show more and be really cute and compact you know??
I am grown up.. I’m 20, and I am just A FASHION FORWARD person so I am not going to go out looking like crap EVER I will never consider leaving my house with no make up, no jewelry and my hair undone, EVEN if i am going to workout. I always take into consideration what I am wearing, and I can’t see that changing even with pregnancy.

Why did you buy it?
Mine was always maternity jeans. I like the over the bump ones but they are always more than £30-£40!
I bought mine simply for style and comfort but wished I could get them cheaper.
I’m doing some research into this – so what was your most indulgent buy and why xxx

I am 20 years old, have an athletic figure (but size 34E cup) and am 18 weeks pregnant. During the summer I’ll have a huge baby bump and for the life of me, CAN NOT find a CUTE maternity swimsuit or bikini with full coverage at a reasonable price?! Does ANYONE know anywhere to look online or in-store?
Help!

I live in the UK, and I work ina restaurant, we have to wear black plain shirts, and I cannot find a black maternity shirt. Does anybody know where I can find one? I mean do shops just think that all pregnant women just sit at home in cheap logo’d t-shirts? I’m getting frustrated, I want to be prepared for when the bump gets bigger!

OK ladies, I have a problem. My maternity pics are scheduled four weeks from now, and I have no idea what to wear. I have to be honest…I’ve gained 50 lbs this pregnancy due to best rest. So, I have a baby belly, but its not the cute baby bump most women get. I want to show off the bump, but hide the other 25-30 lbs that isn’t baby. What should I wear? Even better, my photographer told me to bring two changes of clothes…ugh! TWO outfits…HELP?!

I’m a little over 3 and 1/2 months pregnant (15 weeks 2 days) and I’m starting to… really starting to… show. Not huge, but i have a bump. Here’s a pic if it helps: http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh27/SKeynes_Candy/Decorated%20images/165554.jpg
It’s not really a maternity shirt it kind of looks like it, and i find it sort of more comfortable for my belly than, lets say, a t shirt. Should i start wearing maternity clothing now, if not, when should i start, and where are the best places to buy it? Thanks!

I’m 18 weeks pregnant, but since I wear plus size clothing already (size 18/20), none of my clothes are tight (gotta love elastic!). But anyway, I want to make sure I buy a few essential pieces of maternity wear at least in pants.
My question is, I understand there are different styles of waste bands, but I don’t understand if you wear them under (below) your belly, or across or up over your belly. I keep seeing pictures of these women with their bellies’ exposed and the wasteband of the pants sits under their bump. That seems uncomfortable to me (like my belly is hanging out and jiggling!).

I live just outside of Philadelphia, PA I am just becoming 3 months prego (12wks) and I know the baby bump is inevitable and slowly approaching. Is there any great places you found cute business clothes for maternity? I don’t want to look fat by just wearing big shirts and I have to look professional for work. Thanks so much for your help!

I have a court hearing tomorrow against the owner of our house (we are currently renting until our house is built) and we’ve been having alot of issues!
So much that the stress of everything is causing pregnancy issues- been loosing my mucus plug, a tad spotting and alot of pain but i’ve been checked out and i’m fine and so is she (25 weeks) but i’ve been told take it easy and plenty of rest, no heavy lifting (my 2 year old included) etc so i’ve been doing so…
For my hearing tomorrow i want to make the owner feel really bad by seeing my huge bump at the hearing because of all the problems his stressed has caused… we’ve been assured that with the issues it’ll definitely go in our favour… but i still want to make the loser suffer!
Any ways to make my bump bigger lol i’ve already picked out a maternity top that makes it look a little bit bigger but i want it to appear more bigger lol
Suggestions??
To the rude one’s ie: Sarah T…
You have no idea what i’ve been through or who i am… i do know the complications are stress related and that what has been going on is to blame, you dont know my situation here but i’m well aware and the house issues are created the complications making me unwell…
I know its not going to affect on how things go but i just want to make sure he’s aware there is a growing baby in the picture and if he keeps going this way i might lose her (been told so by doctors)
I never thought people can be so judgemental…
