I’m (hopefully) going to be covering a maternity leave, as an executive assistant with a major manufacturer of locomotives. I have big hips so I like dresses. I wore my best for the first interview. Navy with a scooped neck, conservative hem to the knee, very tailored, and a sand coloured 3/4 sleeve cardigan with sand coloured heels.
I’m going to buy a new outfit for the job shadowing tomorrow. I’m only 26, but most of my office clothes are very classic and conservative. I’m going to be working with a young girl who’s going to be taking the mat leave, I’d like to wear something a little hipper so I don’t look like I’m TOO professional (ie a risk to her job) or uptight and not someone she’d want in her place.
Any ideas for a professional, summery (it’s hot, but no sleeveless), young looking dress I could buy? I will probably go to H&M since it’s reasonably priced.
I’m in London, Ontario, Canada.
Thanks!!
