I have been in the UK since 2005 on work permit but was out of UK on paid maternity leave for 10 months. I was advised by one of the workers at UKBA that I had to cover the gap of 10 months and reapply for the ILR. Is this true? has anybody had this experience?

I have been working in a busy retail store of well established company for the last two and half years. Presently, i am 7 months pregnant and because of the nature of my condition i am much slower, get tired easly and have to sit more often what affects my performance. my collegues are standing, ready to jump on customers and the gap between my performance and the rest is quite easy to notice. i try to work hard, called sick only twice but i have the feeling that our new manager who started working in our shop when i was pregnant already would love to get rid of me. my maternity leave is due to start in less then 2 months, can they sack me for poor performance? hope not

Okay, so I know that this is a very specific question. But I am going to be ordering the Old Navy maternity gauchos for wear at the hospital and around the home after I have the baby. I looked at the size chart, and based on that I should get a medium. But I have pretty wide hips, so I’m not sure if the medium would accommodate my hips and rear. Then again, I’ll mostly be wearing them post-pregnancy, at least for now. Anyone else have these pants? Would they still be true to size for someone with big hips? Thanks!

So I’m a bikini wearing mama… I have 2 kids and am very proud of my beach body… however. THIS summer I will be 7-9 months pregnant with #3. So I was looking at maternity bathing suits. Not a fan of the ones I looked at at Gap and Old Navy. My friend wore her bikini during her pregnancy showing off her belly at 8-9 months pregnant.

I’m wonder what other people think when they see a pregnant women showing the full belly off at the beach? Is it appropriate? Or should I really spend the money and by the maternity suit the covers everything?
I don’t have stretch marks from my other 2 kids… but who knows what can happy with this pregnancy… each one is different!

Okay, so I have been on maternity leave and am going to be going back to work in Sept. I don’t have anything. I need a whole new wardrobe to fit my new body including shoes.

I need to get some nice heels but I always have trouble finding some.

I try heels on and they never seem to fit the back of my foot. There is a gap and so they constantly fall off.

Anyone know how to buy shoes that will fit??

Hi I have applied several times online to various different Gap, Gap Kids/baby/maternity, and Old Navy locations. I’m wondering how long it will take for them to call me back if I meet their qualifications, and if they don’t call me back if it’s okay to drop by and visit the hiring manager or to give their store a call?

the 34 band makes a little gap in the cup, and when i wear a 32 c its flat on my breasts. I was measured in victoria secret and they gave me a 34b…. but honestly, i dont trust them lol. Help? 32c just feels better. Plus when i breathe out and measure below my bust it says 30, so i just assumed 32.

Okay, I’m 14 and I can’t seem to find the right bra size. My measurements are :

Band: 24 inches
Bust: 31 inches

I used online calculators and they always give me different results. I tried the adding and subtracting from the band and bust sizes thing, but I usually end up with AA or something. But I know I’m not an AA. AA bras can barely cover my aerola. :’(

I did start off with A cups when I was 12/13 though and now the cups just keep riding up my boobs and squishing the hell out of them.

So I went to a lingerie shop and I tried and bought a 32B without underwire. The cup fit well, but the band was too loose and the bra seemed to squeeze my boobs together and created unwanted cleavage -.- . I then went there again and tried a 30C (minus a band size, plus a cup size) with underwire and it fit me, but then it didn’t really cover up my boobs properly. The bra outline went just a bit over my nipple and stopped. I want it to cover most of my boobs, not just half.

I also tried a 32C and I liked the cup because it actually covered my bulging breast tissue near my armpit which the other bras didn’t. It also covered more area of my boobs itself, but there was a tiny gap between the bra and my skin when I reach my arms forward. However, when I stand up straight with my hands on my sides, the bra seems to mould perfectly around my breasts. Then I move forward or sit down, and then my boobs spill out of the bra or the bra bends out and doesn’t stick to my boobs.

I don’t know what size I am T_T.

I am having the worst dilemma with jeans to the point that I don’t even want to go anywhere, just sit home in my pj’s. I am 7 months pregnant with 2nd child…had the same problem with my first. I am wearing size 3 regular jeans right now with a bella band but it is so uncomfortable, the waistline and the zipper digs into my stomach. I tried size 5 in regular jeans but they are big on me…so pretty much stuck wearing a size 3 that is completely uncomfortable on my stomach. All the maternity stores I have been to offer size S, M, L and the small is about a 6-8 regular…I look like I’m wearing a bag! I have 2 more months to go and I don’t know what to do…I have no pants to wear and I’m out of the house at least 4 days a week. Please can anyone tell me if there are any stores that offer maternity pants for size 1-3 regular.
I have looked online but I am not comfortable with the idea of ordering pants online, as I have had few problems before…I ordered x-small maternity pants which were said to be a regular 0 but they were much bigger. I would prefer to go to a store and actually try them on before I make any purchases.
Does Gap sell small sizes in stores? Or online only?
