I am about 2.5 months, almost 3 mons pregnant, and can still fit in my regular clothes, but all my work clothes are office suits, and when Im sitting down, i feel that the zipper and button is tight on my belly, which is not good for the baby. It just doesn’t feel comfortable, even though I am not showing yet.

When did you start wearing the maternity roll-up belly pants?

I bought 2 pairs from Motherhood yesterday, and they are soo soo comforatable its unbelieveable. And if I wear a shirt over the roll-up, nobody can tell they are maternity pants, they look completely normal. Its sooo comfortable i would advise it for all preggo moms that work 8 hrs a day. It takes away the stress of squishing your baby w/ regular pants that don’t fit the same.

i love them, and will ck for sales to buy more, its worth wearing them! Now i just have to look for jackets to pair up w/ them.

im 19 weeks pregnant now and im just starting to show. my pants have started fitting a bit tighter so i try to wear athletic pants throughout the day. i feel a bit silly wearing or even buying maternity pants when no one can even tell im pregnant really. is it weird to start wearing maternity pants at this point?. or should i just stick to wearing loose around the mid section dresses and work out pants?

I’m 4months pregnant..it is our first one! My clothes don’t fit anymore like my jeans etc. i don’t have a bump yet, so I want to buy some new pants, but do I buy maternity pants that fits nicely and not tight or do I buy normal jeans that also fits nicely and not tight??

my belly is starting to pop out and i don’t think i’ve ever seen size 00 maternity pants out there. even a size 1 can fit me pretty loose. have you seen at least a size 0 maternity pants? i’ll even wear a size 1. but that i can’t find either

Seriously – High end name brand maternity clothing? Holy cow! Do people seriously buy maternity clothing that costs this much? You only wear it for a few months.

I haven’t gained any weight, but things have definitely shifted. Even my comfy pants don’t feel comfy anymore. I’m not quite 7 weeks! I don’t want to waste money on maternity pants now if I’m just going to need bigger ones later…but seriously, when do you need to start shopping for different pants?

I’m 20 weeks pregnant and still wear my regular pants/shorts… I wear my pants low somewhat like a guy would I guess you would say and I’m wondering if I will even need maternity pants at all?

My daughter is having her christening this Sunday and my mom is dead set on me wearing a dress. I only had my baby about 6 weeks ago, so I can’t fit in hardly any of my old clothes, but it feels pointless to buy anything new.
So my mom keeps pushing me to try on some dresses she has had in the back of her closet since the 1990′s. And then she told my grandma who is now trying to get me to wear some of her dresses (which is even worse)..
I don’t feel the need to wear a dress (the church is not a formal one). And I espcially don’t want to borrow any of there clothes (I’m only in my 20′s and the ceromony is going to be in front of the whole church, including people from my own peer group in the congrigation and my hubby..and my mom and grandma dress approprietly..for their own age.)
I don’t know how to politly tell them that I don’t want to wear any of their old clothes and would rather just wear my dressy maternity pants and a nice blouse (which they are set against and won’t drop)..
Everytime I turn down a dress they offer, they ask me why..I don’t want to hurt their feelings (by making them think that I think they have a bad fashion sense) but it’s starting to feel awkward when they ask and they keep pulling out more dresses without my asking and I’m getting tired of smiling and saying ‘oh, I don’t know’..
How do I get them to drop it without offending them or avoiding them (this happens when I visit them)?

I went to Motherhood Maternity they are SO expensive. And all the maternity pants I’ve tried on have this short/tight/thick band on the waist that puts a dent on my belly and the baby kicks at it cuz its too tight. I like the pants with the long stretchy material that goes up past your belly button to hold ur belly up, do they even sell those anymore?. Right now I can’t button my pants and I’m stuck wearing my regular pants unbuttoned with a Bella Band over the waist to hold em up

Im now 18 weeks & just in the last 2 have I grown a belly bump over night & Im getting bigger by the day. It hurts to wear my usual stuff – Im wearing sweats all the time now. Ive been considering looking at maternity pants, but Im just too smal for that. Im really sick of dressing like a slob – Any solutions?

I’m STILL in maternity pants and it’s been 5 and a half weeks…how long did all of you wear maternity clothes after birth? I quit wearing maternity shirts as soon as I gave birth but I’m still not able to get in normal pants, not even big sizes. I had a 10 lb 14 oz. boy through C Section, so my stomach got huge and now, it’s just a nasty flap of skin that isn’t going away. Ugh.

I’m a pretty tiny girl usually, and with my growing belly, I’ve been in maternity pants for a while now. I’m starting to need maternity shirts but I can’t find any that fit. The problem is, it’s not my belly that doesn’t fit, it’s my shoulders! I usually have to wear junior’s or little girl’s shirts because my shoulder’s are broad enough to wear any women’s clothing. I swim in everything I’ve tried on and I’m scared to order off the internet in case it doesn’t fit. Motherhood doesn’t have anything small enough and Target definitely doesn’t. Any suggestions? I work too so I can’t just wear tshirts all the time as much as I would like to. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice?

My girlfriend is 17 weeks along and her pants dont fit her anymore. she said she just wants 2 sizes up from her normal size shes a 4 normally and wants a size 6. will that work? or do i have to go buy maternity pants instead? ive never looked into maternity clothes i dont know if there are sizes or anything. she just wants to be comfortable and i dont think she wants to shop for maternity clothes? any help would be appreciated

I looked at some maternity pants with the ugly stretch stomach pouch thing and decided they just not for me. Now I’m stuck with black sweats and such. Anyone come up with a better solution? My rear hasn’t really gotten that much bigger, but there is no way to button my jeans anymore!

I am concerned that I am getting big too soon and this is a sign that I am going to get huge! I didn’t think I should start showing until closer to 18-20 weeks. I am not in maternity pants, but I have an obvious baby bump and I can’t button my regular jeans. Is this normal at this stage? It is my first.
