I just started my 3rd trimester and want to find a pair to be comfy in for the rest of the pregnancy. Thanks!
I work in the retail industry. It requires me to be on my feet 8 hours out of the day. I also have a 1 hour drive to and from work. Now that I am in the last weeks of my pregnancy my legs are cramping up. I wear comfortable shoes, but a unable to take break in between. It’s a nonegotiable and the doctor wont give a note to excuse, what he calls "issues due to the pregnancy". He says that it is not a medical reason!
i used to wear size small panty and 34A bra before pregnancy.
now i’m 23 weeks I wear size medium panty and 34C bra.
how much growth in size in bra and panty should I expect until the end of pregnancy and even after breastfeeding starts(for bra)?
Will my breasts become really big when I breastfeed? What size do you think I will be wearing?
Thanks.
My girlfriend and I aren’t planning on kids yet. But in the future what would i expect from her pregnancy, will any of her dailylife rountines differentiate from their regular basis? Because I haven’t necessarily have had the opportunity to hear about these things relating pregnancy.Because any of those changes that occur I WILL support her and be there to help her along the way. Since there are really no seminars of which i could obtain this information, so if there are any other details please, try to contact me. Please no slanderous statements, and use maturity.
What is your take on someone who is fit but has a fair amount of stretch marks (from pregnancy) on their stomach/sides wearing a bikini? Or do you think they should just give in and wear a one piece or tankini?
I’m not asking about weight… I’m saying if someone has a nice body but has stretch marks. Sorry for the confusion! I might repost this with a pic in a few days.
Does anyone know where I can get wallpaper for my computer that has a pregnancy or baby theme? All I can seem to find is the ones for a myspace layout..
I just got a BFP
and I am in a wedding in 6 months, which would make me 7 months for the wedding. I am a size 10 now, what size dress should I order, I think there is a maternity option. My first pregnancy. Thanks for any help or ideas.
OK there are a few different things that have popped up now. I am 28wks pregnant with my second and I never experienced any of this with my first. This is long, so if you are going to answer my question, please read everything so I don’t get useless answers. I thank you if you’ve read all of this. Are any of these things connected, and do I need to worry? I’m sure I’ll just have to stick it out the rest of these 3 months – it’s probably normal and I’m just worrying too much. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues and if you were able to find some type of safe relief. My doctor is useless and I’ve mentioned these things to him and he just says take Tylenol or go see another doctor – if there is nothing he can do, he blows me off rather than telling me that it’s normal and there’s nothing he can do. I can’t switch, no one will take me this late in pregnancy. Thanks for any help!
1) Over the past 2-3days, I have been having a lot of discharge which looks to be like a yeast infection. Not the normal leukorrhea stuff.
2) My back pain has shot through the roof over the past week. It has spread to hurt in my hips, lower abdomen, thighs and down my legs into my feet. It gives me severe pain in my lower abdomen and what feels like the area between my thigh and my genitals. The pain is sharp, stabbing and burning in these areas, and it even feels like it’s going into my lower uterus and cervix. It went from being not so bad and relatively manageable to being absolutely and completely horrible. I can barely walk, I can’t get up or down from a chair, I can’t lay on my sides or back – forget about laying in any position at all. Sitting for too long hurts, standing for too long hurts, walking hurts. I can’t get in and out of bed if I even sleep in the bed. It is incredibly intense pain to move around at all in bed – there is always popping and clicking if I try to move. Even with my husband’s help, I can barely manage to get through the pain – it always has me in tears. I’m waiting for a glider to arrive so I can sleep in an upright sitting position so that I can hopefully start sleeping again. That’s how bad the pain is. I feel it every single second of the day whereas it was not so often before. It hurts so bad to go into a sitting position from standing and vice versa. I can’t get up and down at work all day like I used to. I have to walk very slow and I look really odd walking. I cannot do ANYTHING for myself such as carrying things, picking anything up, any kind of cleaning, trying to play with my 2yo son or put him down to sleep or give him baths. God forbid I drop something or have to be alone with my son. I can barely shower or bathe myself. I cannot sit on a toilet or pee without that intense pain in my lower back. Going to the bathroom is a nightmare. Heating pads do not help, Tylenol doesn’t help, the maternity back brace thing makes it WORSE and trying to keep up my exercises is getting to be so difficult with all this pain – I hear a lot of popping and clicking noises in my lower back when I try to do my exercises now. I could go on and on. I’m miserable. My OBGYN’s nurse told me to go to physical therapy so I am going to try that next. This is so hard to do when I work full-time as well. Getting up in the morning, trying to dress myself and getting in and out of my car is so very painful. Shifting in my seat at work is a nightmare because it hurts my back and pelvic area so bad. I sit here at my desk all day hoping and praying that no one asks me to get up to do something.
3) My abdomen has been very hard and tight and I’m not sure if it’s normal for it to ALWAYS be like that. Should it not be relaxed sometimes? Everyone keeps asking if I’m getting contractions. Sometimes it feels very uncomfortable or even painful but other times I can’t tell but it’s like that pretty much all day. This has been happening for the past 4-5 days.
My nipples are really sensitive but they don’t hurt. Most woman say their breasts get really swollen when they push down on them and it hurts. All that I’m getting is sensitive nipples and they itch alot some of the time. Is that normal for pregnancy? Mind you I did wear a small A cup that barley fit now i’m starting to fill out my bras.
Just a question, even for women who are pregnant right now, just to have a little bit of sort-of statistics on when women feel symptoms, since we all know each pregnancy, even for each person, is different. I wanted to know though also everyone, when do you think is the earliest for symptoms like tender breasts, fatigue, cravings to start? (How many weeks pregnant?) Just another statistic-type question
Thanks!
So I’m probably a HUGE baby but I’m pretty sure I’m dying the last few days. I’m 33 weeks and 4 days pregnant today and my hips and pelvis are killing me!!! This is my third child and I’ve never experienced this before. It’s like someone kicked me in my privates. It hurts to walk, it hurts to lay down, it hurts to sit. Also new the last couple of days if I walk more than from one end of my house to the next I start having contraction. I’m sure they’re just the fake contractions, because they go away as soon as I’m able to sit down again, but man they hurt just as bad as real labor. The last thing that is killing me is that I’m not really able to stand up straight at this point. It feels like all of the muscles in my lower abdomen are so far stretched that I don’t have the ability to stand up straight without tearing every last one of them. I just want to know if anyone else has been feeling this way and that it’s normal. If it’s not I’ll make a call to my OB but I hate to do that if it’s not necessary.
I have been using a maternity belt, it doesn’t do any good and I’ve only gained 5 pounds this entire pregnancy so I don’t know that any of this is weight gain. Perhaps just weight distribution?
I am aware of the handicap placard you need for handicap parking, but do you recieve something for pregnancy? To park in maternity?
My husband and I do not use protection and we had sex last week sometime, not sure of the exact date, and I am not sure if what I am feeling could be pregnancy or it is al in my head. I felt sick on day and everything smelled bad, but it only lasted one day. My breasts are a little sore along the sides, but not enough to bother me. My face has been breaking out like crazy and I have more vaginal discharge than normal. Help?
I’m looking to get independent insurance for myself with a maternity rider and am very discouraged by what I’ve found so far! I’m currently employed as a teacher and have a group HMO plan, but I’m strongly considering going out on my own within the next few weeks. I’m not sure how long my insurance will be good for (my card says until 1/11, but I’m thinking it will be terminated as soon as I resign). My husband and I are also planning on starting a family soon, so I will need maternity coverage. I was thinking about continuing part time this year to keep my insurance, but we also may be moving mid-year, which would, I believe, negate that insurance, and if I’m already pregnant at that time, my understanding is that it would be nearly impossible to get maternity coverage, if I could get coverage at all. So I think the best plan is to go ahead and get insurance now to cover my bases. I’ve spoken to a few agents and the general finding I’m getting is that my only option is blue cross/blue shield with a maternity rider, but I’m having a hard time accepting that these plans are really a good deal for the money. My understanding is that I’ll be paying around 0 a month and will still have to pay ,500 out of pocket for all maternity expenses, then 50% of everything after. I understand that if I have complications that this will save a bunch of money, but if I have a normal pregnancy, this seems a bit like a rip-off. I know there are cheaper base plans, but the agent I spoke with basically told me that they were useless because very few providers took them.
I guess my questions are 1: What happens if you have group coverage during a pregnancy and then move – do all maternity payments then come out of pocket? 2: Is my information (price wise) accurate? and 3: Are there any cheaper (yet legit) options? Any information you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.
I am an active person and would like to continue exercising throughout my pregnancy. I’m looking for suggestions on good pregnancy DVDs that include kegel exercises to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and help prepare for child birth.
